Town of Colchester
The Town of Colchester,
chartered in June 1763, is one of Vermont’s largest municipalities and
an integral part of Greater Burlington. There are three exits from
I-89 that serve Colchester: exit 15 for Winooski Park and Fort Ethan
Allen (Rt 15); exit 16 for Water Towers Hill and Severance Corners (Rts
7 & 2), Malletts Bay and Colchester Village; and exit 17 for Clay
Point and the Islands (Rt 2). For general information about

There are two other fire districts in Colchester: Fire District No. 2, which serves Malletts Bay
